Victoria's new collection is on the prowl at Harvey Nichols
It's the moment Team LBD, with our love of Posh Spice and her iconic LBD, along with every 90s child, and designer devotees the world over have been waiting for – the launch of Victoria Beckham's affordable(ish!) fashion line.
The collection, which Victoria is keen to not be seen as a diffusion line, was unleashed upon Harvey Nichols yesterday and has already sold out of some styles. Whilst this collection is chic and sophisticated like its sister line, it is very different. VB for Victoria Beckham is cute and fresh and youthful; Victoria wanted her new designs to show her 'distinct sense of humour' which popular to contrary belief, she clearly does have. The first floor of Sloane Square's Harvey Nichols has had an injection of VB fun too with quirky cat shaped windows and mannequins with cat heads! From Peter Pan collars, and brightly coloured scallop edges, to conversational cat prints and cloud motifs, this range is inspired by cartoon character Emily The Strange, and is set to be a hit for Spring/Summer 2012. Of course, we're chomping at the bit to try out her quintessentially British little black dresses Рthe shift LBD with quirky green ribbon and the sweetheart neckline LBD are already on our Valentine's Day list. But hurry! If you're hoping to channel VB's cute and colourful side too you'd best get down to Harvey Nichols in London's Knightsbridge, or Birmingham, now. Prices start from £395.
