The best red carpet dresses from the 2016 Critics Choice Awards

Last night saw another panoply of show-stopping evening dresses, that ranged from the sleek to the show-stopping, at the 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards 2016. Held in California's star-studded Santa Monica, the event was hosted by US comedian TJ Miller, and saw Brie Larson take home the best actress gong for her incredible performance in Room, whilst the beautiful Charlize Theron won best actress in an action movie for her role in Mad Max, and Alicia Vikander swooped best supporting actress for The Danish Girl.

Team LBD's awards for the best red carpet dresses of the night go to Rosie Huntington-Whitley who appeared nothing short of supermodel-perfect in her Saint Laurent LBD, whilst Jennifer Aniston, who also wore YSL, looked effortlessly divine in a powder blue evening dress with feminine ruffles. The incredible Helen Mirren made us proud in an eye-catching Dolce & Gabbana chiffon dress covered in monochrome flowers, proving age has no limitations on how glamorous you can look on the red carpet.
