Carly Hobbs - Insider Secrets
First things first, if you're reading this as Mother of the Bride, remember less is more for skin aged 35 plus. Also, don't forget a finishing powder such as Daniel Sandler invisible veil to set and mattify your makeup look. If you love a flawless airbrushed finish, then this is your go-to.
Powdered products are your wedding guest go to, they will glide over any imperfections and laughter lines, making you look flawless.
For all other wedding guests, fans of the more natural look should go for earthy browns, golds and rose golds on the eyes and nudes on the lips. Rose gold is a on trend colour for SS17.
Keep mascara clear or brown, whatever your look, it helps make traces of tears less noticeable (and perfect for older guests who wish to long a little more youthful). Try our new Daniel Sandler intense volume mascara to create glamorous and naturally longer lashes.
Like a pop of colour? A classic red or pink lip looks good - or if you're feeling really daring pick a colour from your outfit and smudge a similar colour of shadow under the lower lash line. It's not too over-the-top with a natural shadow on the upper lid but gives you a little edge for that special day. Our Beauty Shop has just opened, select a pick of lipsticks in a dazzling range of colours. Our favourite is pucker as not only has it got a playful vibe, but it's timeless and completes a day-to-night ensemble.
