Madonna not so like a virgin in a teasing Midi dress at the Venice Film Festival

Not satisfied with being 'Queen of Pop' and all round style icon, Madonna has set off down the glamorous road of cinematics and made an appearance at Venice Film Festival today to wallow in the applause for her latest directorial venture, 'W.E'.

Whether Madge can compete with her ex husband and successful film director, Guy Ritchie is another matter but we're pretty sure she's well and truly in the lead of the style stakes in this delicious LBD.

Many have attempted to recreate Madonna's heyday style, such as Kelly Osbourne, but we're glad to see the original back in action on the red carpets this week.
