Emily in Paris
Emily in Paris, the Netflix show taking the fashion world by storm, has landed. Love it or hate it, it's certainly a talking point. What's to love? Well, where to start. Firstly, be transported to the idyllic city of Paris with a character aka Audrey Hepburn with a dash of Sarah Jessica Parker. Stunning scenery shots, cafe culture and quirky characters are a recipe for French success. Secondly, throw in the most amazing outfits from Chanel, Dior and Kooples. Intrigued? You will be.
This show makes you want to sit on the couch all dressed up with a crisp white vino in hand. Its funny, completely relatable, and escapist who doesn't want to quit 2020 right now? So, have we convinced you to watch it?
Emily in Paris
Emily in Paris stars the gorgeous Lily Collins (daughter of pop star Phil Collins) wearing mix and match outfits similar to Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). In fact, many SIC fans say the plotlines have been stolen from the iconic 90's show but there's bound to be a similarity as it's created by Darren Star. (Darren Star is an American writer, director, and producer of film and television. He is best known for creating the television series Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Sex and the City, Younger and Emily in Paris.) So, who or what is Emily in Paris? She's an American, a fish out of water, in a city oozing with French culture. We watch her freefall with a new career as a marketing exec, howl at her friendships and fall head over heels in love with her petite le ami.
She fails at almost every turn. And we love it. Her resilience is remarkable. She takes the verbal humiliation from the City of Light residents with grace (and a little American attitude thrown in).
Outfit Inspo
But what's really remarkable is her outfits. And, like us, we know you'll love these gorgeous creations. Our style steals will be mainly from our own quirky brand's streetstyle meets Parisienne culture. So here are our top picks of the drama comedy show so far. . .

The LBD Chic and Simple Look
So, Emily turns up at the Swan Lake Ballet in this gorgeous creation. What do you think? We're loving the diamante detailing of her hair and she's just got the shoulders to show off this Audrey Hepburn Bardot style. Try our Ava dress as a style steal featuring a fitted crossover bodice with a bardot off the shoulder neckline, and is finished with an A-line chiffon skirt, beautifully embroidered with 3D foliage lace for a dramatic effect. Or add drama in the Gina Bacconi feather and velvet trim LBD now in the sale and perfect for party season.

Dazzle like Emily in Paris in Winter Whites
If Emily in Paris was filmed in winter, we believe these stunning shades of white would make up her wardrobe. We're loving this collection of soft faux fur, oversized jumpers and satin dresses in ice pink. The large bows, we have it on good authority, are Emily's favourite key feature. She would simply love this mix and match look. Cinch in waists with a belt and dare to bare with a sleek backless Coco jumper shown above.

Florals prints
Paris in the springtime. Emily rocks this bright pink colour. Try our Amour pink dress (you can always add a contrast colour faux fur for the winter season with ankle boots.) Some folk criticise the authenticity of the Paris scene, but Emily's side kicks, Sylvie and Camille's Parisienne style are tres bon we think. Loving Sylvie's obsession with the black dress, a key work wear outfit for every occasion. Meanwhile, bestie Camille dresses up, even just to nip to her local cafe for a croissant. That we can relate to. Light beige seems to be her key colour setting off her blonde highlights. Try our top for more of Camille's style.

Check it Out
Checks and prints are a key trend for the drama. We love Emily's electic wardrobe changes. Pairing prints with florals is a very daring way to stand out - try just adding a check blazer over our fav LBD for a toned down version.
So finally, have we inspired you to be more Emily? We really hope so. . .now we're counting the hours to the next series. Come on Netflix, hurry up.
